Before You Donate

Protect & Prosper New Zealand is required to maintain accurate donor records, including donor names and addresses. Donor information is kept confidential and used only to meet legal requirements under New Zealand electoral law.

Legal Compliance

All donations must follow New Zealand Electoral Commission rules for party donations and loans.

Donation Rules

New Zealand citizens, legally registered New Zealand voters, companies and organisations may donate to PPNZ.

Registered parties must report donor details in annual returns for donations and contributions over $6,000.

Anonymous donations may only be kept up to $1,500. Amounts above this must be handled according to Electoral Commission rules.

Overseas donations and contributions may only be kept up to $50.

In an election year, donations over $20,000 from a single donor must be reported to the Electoral Commission.

PPNZ will keep donor records confidential and use them only for compliance with the Electoral Act and Electoral Commission requirements.
